Welcome to The Gift Scouts! A lovechild of two friends who absolutely love finding the perfect gifts for people.
Meet Joanna ("Jo") and Justine, your gifting fairy godmotha's.
We're pals who crossed paths when we relocated to suburbia with our families just north of Boston. Instantly hitting it off, we discovered we share loads of common interests and passions, from online shopping and hosting gatherings to the art of gift giving (and guilty pleasures like trashy TV shows and fashion faux pas).
Though we're just kicking off, the idea for this venture has been brewing long before our friendship blossomed. Gift hunting has been a source of joy for both of us since childhood, and it's only amplified as we've grown into adulthood.
After bombarding friends, family, coworkers, and neighbors with endless gift recommendations, we thought, "Why not formalize this into something we can share with the world?" Countless beachside and cocktail-fueled conversations later, we finally took the plunge!
If you peek at our texts and Instagram messages, they're packed with links to products and ideas we adore. Now, we're eager to spread that obsession to you!
With over 33 years of combined experience in Marketing, PR, and Advertising, we have a deep love and respect for brands and products—plus, a knack for sharing our finds with everyone we know.
We came up with a concept to assist those who may struggle with gifting or just need a nudge in the right direction. Our gift concierge services and seasonal ready-to-go gifts aim to bring the joy of gifting—just like Jo and I experience—to anyone who partners with us.
So, what's in store for this corner of our site? Frankly, we're not entirely sure yet! But our aim is to showcase items and guide you through The Gift Scouts experience.
We're still fine-tuning and getting everything up and running, but we're thrilled to dive into the holiday season armed with a few tricks up our sleeves.
